A great occasion at Penguin offices as the lovely Tom Palmer celebrated the launch of the first in his series of Football Detective novels. He deserves it and he works hard for it. So all power to his pen.
Quite surreal though to be surrounded by a 'Reading Agency office party'! Politesse toujours - even if it turns you into plastic.
About Me
- Alison S
- How many interests can one combine? Increasing literacy and making the most of local food; being creative and constructive; keeping a global perspective and maintaining local sustainability - having one's cake and eating it! I hope to: work creatively and good-humouredly in words and information with interesting people; share good food with family and friends; exercise in the garden and with the dog; capturing the lot with a camera.
